Monetary Donation:

We provide our programs to teachers at no cost, and would like to keep it that way. Our Traveling Classroom Exhibits make their way all over the country to schools of all levels, and is utilized by students of all ages. HIYHF is always extremely appreciative of each and every donation it receives, all funds go directly to supporting our mission and to help educate students in your area!

Classroom Lesson Plans/Activities:

If you are an educator that has utilized our Traveling Classroom Exhibits, we want to hear from you! What type of lessons or activities did you plan to accompany the exhibit while it was visiting your classroom? If you are interested in helping to expand our availability, you can donate a PDF version of the written activity or plan you used in collaboration with our collections.

Historical Objects: 

History in Your Hands will graciously accept almost any type of historical object which can be in turn handled and used in the classroom.  All donations will be professionally appraised for tax deductibility. 

       i.e. maps, coins, antiquities, art pieces, etc.

Volunteer:

We are always in search of valuable help from people who care about the betterment of historical education! Reach out to us to see how you can contribute to our team's efforts. Background in teaching? Help create and design lesson plans or classroom activities to coincide with our traveling classroom exhibits! We are actively trying to expand our portfolio in order to best support educators.
