Join us at our headquarters and the New World Cartographic antique map gallery for what will surely be the most creepy cartographic event in town! We will begin with a brief talk on the origins of monsters in maps, scenes of cannibalism, exotic curiosities, and disturbing imagery that found its way into cartographic works over the five centuries.

After the talk, we will unveil our collection of creepy maps, many of which will have been featured in the talk. Attendees will have ample time and opportunity to view and purchase these maps as well as hundreds of other works housed in the gallery of New World Cartographic, while enjoying some blood wine, seasonal craft beer and hors d’oeuvres.
